Policies & Client Agreement

Thank you for choosing J. Mamon Photography to capture your special moments! Please take a quick look at the following studio policies to help ensure your session runs smoothly and beautifully.


💰 Retainer & Payment

A $25 nonrefundable, nontransferable retainer is due at booking to secure your session date and time. Your remaining balance is due on or before your session date. Payment options include Zelle (318-394-2969), Venmo (@jennifermamon), or CashApp (@jmamonphotography).


🌦️ Weather or Emergencies

Outdoor sessions are subject to weather conditions. If rain, storms, or unforeseen events occur, your session will be rescheduled at no cost. I’ll stay in touch leading up to your date to confirm or adjust if needed.


❤️ Safety & Comfort

Your safety and comfort are top priorities, especially for children and outdoor sessions. Please follow my direction during posing and setup to ensure the best and safest results.


🔁 Rescheduling & Late Arrivals

Life happens! If you need to reschedule, please notify me AT LEAST 24 hours in advance to discuss options. Anything less than 24 hour notice will result in a loss of the retainer and new fee will be required for a new session.


Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may lose session time to stay on schedule or be invoiced a late fee of $5/ 5 minutes. The invoice must be paid in full prior to J. Mamon Photography releasing the digital album.


🖼️ Image Delivery & Editing

Sneak peeks are sent within 72 hours, and final galleries are delivered within 4 weeks (unless otherwise stated). All images are carefully edited in my signature style.

Raw/unedited files are not released.


📸 Sharing Your Photos

I don’t watermark your images because I want you to have clean, beautiful photos. If you share them on social media, please tag @JMamonPhotography. This helps my small business grow, and I’m so grateful for your support!


📷 Image Selection

Each collection includes a set number of digital images. Once your gallery is delivered, you’ll “heart” your favorites to finalize selections. Detailed instructions will be include in your gallery delivery email. Additional images, full gallery upgrades, prints, and photobooks are available for purchase.


🖨️ Prints & Product Quality

All prints, photo books, and physical products are created using professional labs chosen for their quality and color accuracy. Every order is inspected before delivery to ensure it meets professional standards.

If an item arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, please contact me within 3 business days of receiving it and attach photos of the issue. A replacement will be may be issued at no cost if the problem is verified.

Please note that all print and photo book sales are final. Because each product is custom made, refunds or exchanges cannot be issued for minor variations in color, crop, or brightness compared to digital files. These differences are normal and may appear based on screen calibration or print material.


Cancellations & Refunds

All retainers are nonrefundable. Because digital images cannot be returned once delivered, refunds are not issued after your session. If you’re ever unhappy with your photos, please reach out — I’ll do everything possible to make it right, including offering a complimentary re-edit or discounted reshoot if appropriate.


📸 Copyright & Image Use

J. Mamon Photography retains the copyright and ownership of all images and video content captured during your session. This means I may use selected photos or short video clips for my portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, or print promotions.

Clients receive personal usage rights to share and print their images for personal, non-commercial use. Your images will never be sold to third parties or used in any way that would misrepresent or harm you.

If you prefer that your images not be shared publicly, please let me know in writing before your session. I completely respect your privacy and will gladly honor your request.
